Heard today on Fox News that Sacremento California is about to launch a new program that will charge accident victims with fees for emergencies. An example given, if the fire department comes to your aid to extinguish a car fire you are charged a $680 fee.
Why pay taxes to fund these programs and then charge us as well? Like all politicians, this was done for an immediate fix for a large problem. Long range damage is never considered. Hopefully the fools running our cities will not consider this a remedy.
